North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency

North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (NRVWWDA) is one of the nine (9) Water Works Development Agencies under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation. It was established vide Gazette Notice No. 5 of 7th February 2020 pursuant to the Water Act No. 43 of 2016. It covers the counties of Uasin Gishu, West Pokot, Turkana and Elgeyo-Marakwet with a total Population of approx. 3.2 Million and an area of approx. 83,000 km2. The Agency was carved off the former Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (West Pokot, Turkana and Elgeyo-Marakwet counties) and Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency (Uasin Gishu County).

CEO ROTICH LEADS TEAM IN DOCUMENTS PRESENTATION FOR FUNDING

Earlier today, our CEO, CPA Edwin Rotich, led the Agency's team during a meeting at Maji House, Chaired by PS, State Department for Water & Sanitation, Julius Korir.

On the 10th of January, 2024 the Agency had the privilege of hosting H.E. President William Samoei Ruto for the much anticipated groundbreaking of the Moi's Bridge-Matunda Water Supply Project. With an investment of Ksh. 1.9B and a completion target of October 2026.
