The scope involves feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed designs and preparation of tender documents for the expansion of the existing Two Rivers Dam and Sosiani Treatment works to a capacity 0f about 72,000m³/day from the current 14,000m3/day. The preliminary designs have been prepared and shared with stakeholders. The project is estimated to cost KES 14 Billion and will be the game changer for Eldoret town and adjacent centres upon completion.

• Construction of a Conventional Water Treatment Plant of capacity 18,000m3/day to supply Iten Town and the neighbouring areas

• Spring Development and protection, installation of pumping system complete with 9.7 KM distrbution lines.
• Construction of 1 no. 100 CM masonry tank and rrehabilitation of existing tank

• Construction of new intake Weir,
• Construction of Gravity Main 9Km length.
• Construction of 4 NO. Storage Tanks and 22km Distribution network.

1. Construction of a 600m3 Composite Filtration Unit (CFU) at Kapchesewes treatment works.

4. Rehabilitation of existing Cheles Composite Filtration Unit (CFU)
5. Replacement and installation of new HDPE pipelines with a cumulative length of 19 km, consisting of assorted sizes and pressure ratings (PN).
6. Other civil work includes sanitation blocks, master meters, operators house etc.
