North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency
North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (NRVWWDA) is one of the nine (9) Water Works Development Agencies under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation. It was established vide Gazette Notice No. 5 of 7th February 2020 pursuant to the Water Act No. 43 of 2016. It covers the counties of Uasin Gishu, West Pokot, Turkana and Elgeyo-Marakwet with a total Population of approx. 3.2 Million and an area of approx. 83,000 km2. The Agency was carved off the former Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (West Pokot, Turkana and Elgeyo-Marakwet counties) and Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency (Uasin Gishu County).

Today, the North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency participated in the 33rd World Water Day celebrations held at Mwerongundu Junior Secondary School in Igembe North, Meru County.
4The North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency, led by Ag. Manager Resource Planning, Research and Strategy Mr. Sammy Kigen, today participated in a tree growing exercise at MCK Mariri Comprehensive School in Igembe North, Meru ahead of the 33rd @wowaterday celebrations.
